Measuring Project Performance – COMAPS
The execution stage of the Project related to offsite and onsite activities. Progress measurement, and formal follow up of all tasks and obligations.
Every action tracked through to completion with pre-determined focal points. Responsible person and actions, monitored and measured on their performance effectiveness. Non-conformance issues raised through the Contract process.
The Contract is the platform for Project performance with focused attention from Management. Closeout of actions is at the core of the COMAPS philosophy. Identifying those responsible for actions during the Contract review and mapping phases. COMAPS follows the Project activities during the project execution phase.
COMAPS breaks each Contract down into 5 categories of phased activities. Running in order, they rely on the smooth completion of tasks and actions. This allows the follow on phases to start and continue to acceptable standards.
COMAPS follows each Contract task and action to track Project progress. Strict acceptance monitoring will ensure the works are completed to high quality standards. Follow on activities do not start until the works are formally accepted.

COMAPS - Focus on People

People write the contract and people deliver the project. This is always the primary focus at all times.
Follow up of people and their tasks is essential. Project resources arrive with individual style and work methods.
Preparing the people to follow COMAPS. Flexibility to think and take initiatives is essential.
Making people responsible and assigning authority to deliver against set criteria.
COMAPS - Scope of Works
The Contract management team supervise and ensure contract compliance. Initiation of management systems, tools and checklists to ensure works are correct.
The Contract management team formalise acceptance of the works and Contract compliance. Auditable records must be available.
The Contractors perform the scope of work using management systems, checklists and plans.
The Contractor’s scope of works is measured daily. Specification and schedule checked for compliance.
Interface works checked and accepted in sequence. Sign off provided to allow follow on works to commence.
SUMMARY:
